I chose this product to contain some 3-1/2 inch packing I have displayed in my office. I collect the winners and the losers --- this is packing to avoid in a scrubber.
The case cover is heavy plexiglass with a slight engineering improvement: a slit. This prevent thermal cracking and transfer of a slight amount of air out of the display case. The base is designed to accomodate the slightly loose see-through cover. If removed you will notice the slit. If left in place over the base you'd never know the slit was there. I bought a display case earlier that cracked because the cover is solid. I had to glue it back together and it looks it.

By Daniel Mulford This product does exactly what the description states. We purchased the softball and baseball display and had our infant and 6 yr make hand stamps on the balls and displayed them. People love this!!!
